It was a gorgeous day and we had to get out. Didn’t matter where. So off we went to play at Lake Padden.
The catch here is: we left the house at around 5pm. Really close to the dinner gong. No matter. We went anyway. That’s the way we are. However, by 6:30 the natives were getting restless (me) and wanted to try the other burger joint my partner went to (without me again)… Boomers Drive-in.
We could sit in the car, but chose to sit inside around the circular gas fireplace. Cozy. There were many choices on the chalkboard menu. We ordered Baby Boomers, Teriyaki Boomers, BBQ Boomers, waffle fries, onion rings (these were like MY mom’s – see post on fiamma Burger) and some chicken, too. No one complained. I know, hard to believe with three children, but there you have it.
